The Robert Sainsbury Library is housed in the Sainsbury Centre at the southwest end of the UEA campus, about a five- to ten-minute walk from the campus centre. It is located alongside the Living Area, the main gallery of the Sainsbury Centre, underneath the East Mezzanine (the postgraduate study area). The closest entrance to the building is through the west door, adjacent to the Department of Art History and World Art Studies. During Sainsbury Centre gallery opening hours, it can also be accessed from the Gallery Entrance (closed on Mondays) via the east door and through the Living Area.
