Welcome to the Sainsbury Research Unit (SRU), a centre for the study of the arts and material culture of Africa, the Pacific region and the Americas, based at the University of East Anglia.

The SRU offers MA and PhD programmes, scholarships and fellowships. It has an outstanding research library and excellent facilities in the Sainsbury Centre, whose collections are used in teaching and research. SRU alumni hold academic and museum posts worldwide.
